Included are landmark and monumental images of the city for example, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and the Moulin Rouge nightclub, mixed together with scenes from daily urban Parisian life such as mid-city balconies bursting with flowers, bicycles and graffiti. Illustrated and annotated by Benedetta Pignatelli, the descriptions are as sharp as the images, for example: ‘Graffiti 1er (premier) arrondissement: the French allure never fails.
